Have You Thanked God Today?

Have you thanked God today? If you have not, it is not too late to do so NOW? If you have, how many times do you think is too much to thank Him in a day?

God is awesomely magnanimous and deserves to be praised all the time. We should not wait until He does something for us before we extend our gratitude to Him. Aside from material things, the air that we breathe in is available to us in every second of each day. Guess what? Man would have required us to be thanking Him every second of each day. And when we offend him, he simple stops the air from flowing our way. You know what follows. But our God is awesomely patient and merciful.

Sadly, a lot of people do not think they owe God this appreciation. Well, different strokes for different folks. But if you ask me, I’d say it is very good and necessary to praise the Lord always.

Do you know that praises is also a form of prayer with powerful and far-reaching capabilities? Joshua 6:16,20 says : “And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the Lord hath given you the city….So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat…”

A simple THANK YOU LORD FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE FOR ME goes a very long way.

So, thank God always. Not because you want more from Him, but because He has done a lot for you and your family already….especially the precious GIFT OF LIFE.

For me and my family, “I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” (Psa 34:1)

Thank you Jesus !!!

Thanks for your time ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. I am on a “fast of thanksgiving” as we speak. 7 days of utter unbridled thanks to God, every second, every minute, everyday for the next well 5 days (I’ve already done 2 days). Its a super spiritual asset to possess. God is attracted to gratefulness.
