How Do You Handle Disappointments ?

If you are a regular visitor to my blog, you would have noticed that it took a while before I published my last post.

I was in a bit of depression over a disapointment. That was actually the second time I suffered this same disapointment. I really felt bad because I PRAYED over it and was looking forward to getting what I wanted. I relied on one of my favourite Bible verses : “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (Prov 3:6).

However, I was mindful of one fact : “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8). I had no choice than to “painfully” but willfully abide by dictates. Since I was 100% convinced that God was not wicked and had perfect knowlege of everything about me (past, present and future), I told God to speak to me through any means. I just needed to know why the disappointment came twice.

And so, God revealed himself via an email that I received. Then, I discovered that the disapointment was actually God’s means of giving me much more than I ever asked for :):) Halleluyah ! By now, the curious mind would be trying to find out “what’s up?” Well, be patient, as I will definitely share my testimonies once God has finished executing His far more better plans for me 🙂

Indeed, God has a beautiful way of bringing out sweet melodies from broken chords 🙂 Like He did to Joseph (Gen 39:2-4) – by making him to be sold and imprisoned in order for him to become great – He still does for all those who have (and would) faithfully surrendered themselves to Him.

Have you?

God bless us all…

Thanks for your time 🙂
