Don’t Keep Your Testimonies To Yourself

“Share your testimonies! As long as you keep it to yourself, you deny many people of their blessings and you will be held responsible someday. One reason God did what He did in your life is so that your testimony can trigger that of others. How are you utilizing this powerful tool?” – Pastor E.A. Adeboye, General Overseer, RCCG)

Lord, “my mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof. I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.” (Psalm 71:15-16)

So, I urge you to “give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.” -(1 Chron 16:8-9)

Bless someone today. Encourage someone today. Build up hope in someone’s life today. Give someone a reason to hold on. Convince someone that with God nothing is impossible. Draw someone closer to God today. Shower your gratitude to God today. Put a smile on God’s face today !!! Do these by telling him/her of God’s awesome magnanimity to you and your family….and I guarantee you that God will show you that He’s just starting with you !

All glory to God !!!

  1. I’ve started doing this more on my blog, sometimes it’s hard. There is so much stigma surrounding discussing spirituality, especially among my age group. It’s almost like you are expected to be stupid because you have a belief in something, like you have to express it in maybes or could be’s, otherwise people will take you less seriously. well, I know for a fact there is a something bigger, and I’ve seen God work in my life and others–I’m not going to blaspheme those gifts simply because it is more convenient in conversation.

Thank you for this post, it made me feel strong!

    • To start with, thanks a lot for visiting my blog and taking time out to read and comment. I am very glad you acknowledged the fact that “I’ve seen God work in my life and others.” A lot of people need this encouragement to hold on and have hope. Do you know that testimonies have saved a lot of people’s life and strengthened people who have reached a point of giving up.Remember that you said “Thank you for this post, it made me feel strong!” That is what testimonies are capable of doing. So, ignore what people are saying and do what is right – show gratitude to God and bless someone by doing that! God bless you real good 🙂
