Even in death, Michael Jackson still remains my best entertainer. His dance steps, extraordinary videos, extraordinary personality and above all, his message-loaded songs, made him my best entertainer, even after death. Its really hard to pick my best song, but one line in “Speechless” happens to be my best, and one of the reasons why I still respect MJ a lot. He sang: “…but all is possible if God is on my side…”
This belief by MJ, to me, seemed to be one of the reasons behind MJ’s extraordinary life on earth, even after death. Perhaps that was why his dance steps were flawless; his videos were extraordinary; he dwelt in safety despite the hatred that came from some quarters; no wonder he stood out among his sibblings; no wonder MJ was very successful, no wonder MJ’s extraordinary popularity and acceptance; no wonder he was seen as more-than-human; no wonder….no wonder…..
In time past, “The Lord was with Joseph and continued to show his kindness to him, so the commander of the prison guards began to like Joseph” (Genesis 39:21 ERV). And when danger stared the Isrealités in the face, “…the Lord said to Moses, ‘Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward’” (Exodus 14:15 NKJV). May his gentle soul continue to rest in perfect peace.
